Mystery, historical fiction, realistic fiction

Why are many girls at St. Joan's Academy in Danvers, Massachusetts developing a mysterious illness that affects them in different ways? Are they faking it? Is it toxins in the soil? Is it because Danvers used to be Salem Village where the infamous witch trials took place?  Colleen Rowley is swept away in the stress of everyday life as a senior battling for valedictorian, getting into the college of her dreams, and boys. Now she is trying to figure out exactly what is happening at St. Joan's.  Will she be able to do so before the illness strikes her?

It is interesting how the book goes back in time to tell about the witch trials when Danvers was Salem Village. It's an even paced book with a likable main character.
